1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to G1 Practice Test Ontario (“we,” “us,” “our,” “the Site,” or “the Service”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms,” “Terms of Service,” or “Agreement”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) and G1 Practice Test Ontario regarding your access to and use of g1practicetestontario.ca and any related services, features, and content.

By accessing or using our Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• “Site” / “Service” means g1practicetestontario.ca and all related services, features, and content.
• “User” / “you” / “your” means any person accessing or using the Site.
• “Content” means all text, graphics, images, questions, explanations, practice tests, study materials, tools, and other materials on the Site.
• “Account” means an account created to access certain features (if available).
• “Practice Tests” means quizzes, mock tests, and learning materials provided for G1 preparation.
• “Official Test” means the Ontario G1 knowledge test administered by official authorities (e.g., DriveTest / Ontario licensing system).

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 Age Requirements

The Site is intended for individuals 13 years of age or older. By using the Site, you confirm you are at least 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or provide personal information without verifiable parental consent.

3.2 Account Creation (If Applicable)

If you create an Account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your account details up to date
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.3 Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or your Account (if any), with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you:

• Violated these Terms
• Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity
• Attempted to compromise Site security or integrity
• Misused Content, including unauthorized copying or scraping
• Repeatedly violated acceptable use rules

4. Description of Services

4.1 Educational Resources

G1 Practice Test Ontario provides educational materials designed to help users prepare for Ontario’s G1 knowledge test, including:

• Practice questions and quizzes
• Explanations and learning content
• Progress tracking and performance summaries (where available)
• Supplementary study tools and resources

4.2 Service Availability

We aim to keep the Site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Site may be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance or updates
• Technical issues
• Service provider outages
• Events beyond our reasonable control

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

4.3 Free Service and Advertising

Some features may be provided free of charge and supported through advertising (including Google AdSense). You acknowledge the Site may display ads.

We may add paid features or subscriptions in the future and will clearly disclose pricing and terms at that time.

5. Use of the Site

5.1 Licence to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial G1 study purposes.

5.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for unlawful purposes
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit Content without written permission
• Use bots, scrapers, spiders, or automated tools to access, extract, or copy Content
• Attempt to hack, bypass, or interfere with Site security or access controls
• Upload or transmit malware or harmful code
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation with any entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Collect personal information about other users without consent
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code (except where permitted by law)

5.3 User Conduct

You are responsible for your conduct and any content you submit (e.g., feedback). We may remove content that violates these Terms or is inappropriate.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Ownership

All Site Content and the overall compilation, layout, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected under Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited Permission

You may use Content only for your personal study. You must not:

• Republish or redistribute Content
• Create derivative works from questions or explanations
• Reuse Content on another website, app, or product
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

6.3 Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it without compensation.

7. Official Government Disclaimer

7.1 No Government Affiliation

IMPORTANT: G1 Practice Test Ontario is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Government of Ontario, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), DriveTest, ServiceOntario, or any official driver licensing authority.

7.2 Official Study Materials

Official rules and licensing requirements may be found through Ontario government resources and official publications. We encourage users to study official materials in addition to our practice tests.

7.3 No Test Administration

We do not administer, schedule, or control the official G1 test. Official testing and licensing decisions are made only by authorised government/licensing entities.

8. Disclaimers and Warranties

8.1 Educational Use Only

The Site is provided for educational and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that:

• Practice questions match the official test
• Explanations are error-free or complete
• Your use of the Site will result in passing the official test

8.2 No Guarantee of Results

Use of this Site does not guarantee you will pass the Ontario G1 knowledge test. Results vary based on individual preparation and official test content.

8.3 “As Is” and “As Available”

The Site and Content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any damages arising out of or related to:

• Your use or inability to use the Site
• Errors or omissions in Content
• Test failure or licensing outcomes
• Technical interruptions, delays, or security incidents
• Loss of data or unauthorised access

If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and in any case will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the prior 12 months (typically CAD $0 for free services).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless G1 Practice Test Ontario and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your misuse of the Site
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of laws or third-party rights
• Any content you submit that causes harm or infringement

11. Third-Party Links, Services, and Ads

11.1 External Links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

11.2 Advertising

We may show third-party ads (e.g., Google AdSense). We are not responsible for advertiser claims or third-party products/services. Your interactions with advertisers are between you and them.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws (including PIPEDA). By using the Site, you consent to our data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Copyright and Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe Content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us at support@g1practicetestontario.ca with sufficient details to identify the material and your claim, and we will review it.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. We will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use means acceptance.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

You agree that disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

16. Miscellaneous

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.

16.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect.

16.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our permission. We may assign these Terms as part of a business transfer.

16.5 Language

These Terms are provided in English. If translated, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
